Improve Your Chances of Getting Hired as One of Our Care Providers
Gateway Care is a rapidly growing home health agency. We are always looking for talented and qualified employees who best exemplify our philosophy of Compassion, Acceptance, Respect and
Excellence (C.A.R.E).
We are proud to say that we receive hundreds of applications each year, and we created this page to help interested candidates. The focus of this page is to help you know what to expect during the interview
process and our in-depth orientation. We hope this guidance helps you exhibit your
best skills to our interview panel.

IT STARTS WITH PREPARATION
Our highly skilled and reputable Care Providers prepare for their shift long before arriving at the Client's home. This is achieved through prior mental preparation and planning. The interview process is very similar. Mentally preparing for the interview will show the interview panel that you take your skillset seriously and value others’ time as much as your own.
BE SPECIFIC ABOUT YOUR SKILLS
If you are asked to tell us about yourself, remember to highlight specific skills and experience. For example, if you are an RN with IV infusions experience, our clinical team wants to know. Another example might be a CNA with experience caring for Alzheimer patients. Knowing these details help ask more relevant questions about your experience.
UPDATE YOUR RESUME
If you are invited to join our Care Provider Team you will be an employee, not a private contractor. An accurate resume helps our interview panel gauge your qualifications. Resumes also demonstrate your writing skills, which are important. Our Clinical Coordinators prepare detailed plans of care and expect Care Providers to write detailed reports at the end of each shift.
GET TO KNOW US
Before your interview, we encourage you to read our mission statement and understand our core values of Compassion, Acceptance, Respect and Excellence. Each applicant is graded on their understanding of these values. While we pride ourselves on the clinical care we deliver, our core values are the heart of our mission and the foundation for our mutual future success.
